Dr. Edwin Posadas specializes in the treatment of genitourinary cancers, with a particular emphasis on the treatment of advanced prostate cancers.
His research interests include proteomics, a branch of molecular biology involving analysis of the functions and interactions of proteins in the body as related to the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Dr. Posadas uses his research to develop more effective methods to diagnose and treat prostate cancers with a particular interest in using the emerging classes of non-cytotoxic targeted therapies for cancer. He serves as a reviewer for journals such as Molecular and Cellular Proteomics, Journal of Proteome Research and Cancer Research.
